I'm thinking the 3 corners are 3 "cornerstone" players..Love, Melo & Lebron. Or the reference to boxing could be 3 players from 3 contending teams.. "Ah the good life" is part of the hook on a song & might be a reference to Kanye West's hometown of Chicago. Also part of the lyrics are "It feel like Atlanta, it feel like L.A. it feel like Miami, it feel like N.Y., summertime Chi(cago)..."It feel like Houston, it feel like Philly, it feel like D.C..." As everyone else stated, the Ricky Bobby reference seems to be specifically about Lebron coming up short in the Finals, or possibly Bosh. Either way something seems to be brewing and it just might be us netting that 3rd superstar!!
Then don't click on the thread. And for those who question Doc's "credibility" and try to compare him and cyberx....Just stop it. You're missing the point. For clarification, Doc...since the beginning of time here, has given us the inner machinations of the Rockets organization. Sometimes deals fall apart, but he gives us the scoop. He has been and IS a major part of the Houston Rockets and this board. cyberx has connections through agents and contributes a nice amount...some of which is obvious or post facto. Doc is DEEP inside AND likes to have fun...remember that....what it used to be like here. Also, Doc, has to do it this way because he IS A FACE OF THIS ORGANIZATION...You get it up to date....He can't and shouldn't say it straight out due to the ramifications. all i can take from it is that we're somewhat zeroed in on our target, and the back channels are positive. The second part feels like, being someone's second choice destination is just being the first loser.
