Yes why not? He is the best value.

Our goal is talent around our super star.

if you could get cousins for the rest of our MLE, literally everybody's answer in this thread should be F*CK YES. this is a no brainer.

would open up the door for us to trade capela for a forward upgrade as well. then worry about our center spot next year.

Cousins a good player, but really not a good fit for MDA. Under a different coach maybe.

It would be great to get Cousins. He would be like having NeNE on steroids. No more being beat up on the boards by the bigger teams. Can shoot 3's great for a center.
Time to go all out for Boogie unless he absolutely cannot get along with Harden and Paul.

    Cousins tried to fight Durant.
Rockets tried to fight Austin Rivers (& Blake Griffin)
There are no beefs in the NBA.

    but...

Now I know CF went from "Look at our record with Capela-Harden-CP3!" to "Trade Capela!" but not sure the Rockets did or would suddenly like Cousins if they didn't like him last year. ("Bad fit.")

Lol what the **** are you talking about? Nobody has ever complained about his playstyle. Not even last year in gs. If anything they wanted more from him but he was too injured to offer that. Cousins has never been considered a hard to work with or selfish player. How do people come up with such **** narratives?

I love what he could bring to the table. Stretch big, solid rebounder and one of the best passing bigs in the league.

Things I don't like: his attitude, potential issues with buying into our system and lacks of minutes, his locker room presence, the injury concerns and he's a turnover machine. I agree with @Vivi on this one. This has dwight/melo vibes all around it.

I am for it. More than worth whatever remaining we have in the NT-MLE.

Maybe our highest paid player. Our best player is none of those things.

I never said he's selfish, i just think it's probably not an easy player to incorporate in a system, Dwight for example could've but he just never wanted so, different reasons but i think there's a similar risk.
