McHale was chosen over Boston assistant Lawrence Frank and Dallas assistant Dwane Casey after meeting with Rockets owner Leslie Alexander on Wednesday to complete the interview process. McHale has agreed in principle to a three-year deal plus a team option.. Some people keep blaming just Morey for the hiring. We are worse then an expansion team. I would fire all players, coaches and GM and just start over. Wish we could fire Les's dumb ass too.
He does a great job whipping up secondary and tertiary players. Still has yet to net us an All Star. This is a star driven league, and Morey is currently 0-19 in attempts to land one. Morey's been his own worst enemy in negotiations, refusing to budge off his assigned value of players, stalling out trades and upsetting players. And his asset/moneyball driven "BPA regardless of position" strategy has left the team unbalanced and severely stunted. We keep spinning wheels today for a future blockbuster that he keeps whiffing on. I'm getting really sick and tired of this.
If you're only track record as GM is aquiring cheap 2nd rounders you have failed miserably. Side Note: The only person on there worth anything was Landry. Furkan Aldemir?? Who???
