IF McHale is replaced I would also like Sampson because of his dedication to the D. He will be like Tom Thibodeau of the Bulls where the team's D keeps them in games even when their Offense is not working on some nights.

Point of reference, McHale putting lin in a corner to play spot up shooter ~ this wouldn't be what Lin would be doing for D'antoni in any game last year or 10 years from now.

You usually have a lot of good points - but stating that a player will play well under 1 coach just as well as another coach shows gross ignorance for someone thats followed basketball as long as you have.

If that were the case the Lakers would not be firing Mike Brown - and replacing him with Jackson, D'antoni

If that were the case D'antoni would never have left the Knicks with Woodson taking over the reigns.

If Jeremy Lin can only play well under one coach, then he will have a very short career.

I'm just stunned at how quickly the rockets have transformed from the most exciting and dynamic team in the league to the most confused and inept offense in the league. Thank the coaching staff for that.

Morey needs to take a stand and get a real coach: Sloan, or maybe D'Antoni.

What the duck is wrong with Sampson? In defense that's about it.

I think that McHale and JVG wouldn't be that much different.

Morey worked for the Celtics for three years before joining the Rockets. He was probably on the phone to McHale on a weekly basis while McH was in Minne waiting to gift the Celtics with Garnett.

Please get D'Antoni, the man who believes in Lin. No time fooling around.

Seems like coaching is always the scapegoat. Wasn't it like this for every Rockets coach since Gundy? Everyone thinks they are better coaches than the pros. Lin fans just want Mike D antoni because they think he can make lin good again.
