last thing we need is another change and new face...let stick to the status quo...we can only improve from this position...the coach is actually doing great...his team was competitive till the last minute of all the 5 games...
No he really isn't. McHale is trying to implement a similar scheme that Dantoni is. Dantoni's system needs 3 point shooters and a pnr finisher none of which we have. So why should we get MDA? He makes no sense for this team. The only reason people want him is because of Lin so that he can recreate "Linsanity". It is nonsense. MDA makes non sense on this team.
Why are so many people for this idea? He is a horrible coach. His lack of any defensive knowledge will never lead anywhere.
MDA is a better coach than he gets credit for, but I can't see his being good for a young, developing team. He needs hand-picked players for his system and is too hands-off.
We were going to the finals with these guys? So all that talk from Morey about needing another star was just BS? Come on now. The man's been saying it'll be tough for us just to make the playoffs.
idk why the rockets never went after phil, even if the chance was remote. I don't now how not every team in the league is not debating, or inquiring, about hiring and firing their coach with him on the market. It baffles me given this mans achievements.

I really like this team and I respect what Kevin Mchale has done as a player but I just don't think that he is the right fit for this team! I don't know if we should just wait until the year is over but we definitely need a new coach! Mike D'Antoni, Nate McMillian, or even Bryan Shaw would be awesome to have! They would all do a really good job!
Larry Brown would be a godsend. I don't know what it would take to pull him out of retirement, but whatever it is it would be worth it.
