We don't have the personnel for D'Antoni. No pnr big and no 3 point shooters. The result would be the same because McHale is doing what D'Antoni is doing but he's actually preaching defense.

but let's hear why D'Antoni is so bad in your mind. i've heard so many D'Antoni bashing from Melo/Knicks fans from their forum which have spread over to every other team's forums, but i've yet to hear any real valid reason for the hate. just curious to know why D'Antoni's system won't work for this team.

DAntoni never will accept this headache.

We dont have NOTHING on O.

    None strategy, none play. nothing.

The next coach will need start from zero. Its too much for the old Dantoni.

    hey transplant knicks fans,
you realize the knicks fired D'Antoni right? And you realize they are better without him right?

Who you calling a transplant Knick fan? And utilizing your logic, then why did Houston hire McHale? T-Wolves are MUCH better off without him. Adelman, remember him, has erased the nightmare McHale years in Minnesota.

Players like Machado and White would flourish in Mr. Pringles offense.

    but til now
They still playing DAntoni Offense + Woodson defense
Woodson is a ZERO offense knowledge

Dantoni could bring a culture in offense.
Like Aldeman made last season and McHale used.

Definitely. He can potentially make the Harden/Lin backcourt a monster. That is, if they do indeed have the skill and potential to be that good, and not just being held back by the coach as we believe right now. J

Just needs to hire a defensive specialist as a assistant coach with him, but we do have a defensive anchor in Asik, and he will probably play T-jones and other rookies considering the scrubs we have here. He likes his vets, but he doesn't like scrubs and he gives chances to people.

You don't think there are Knick transplants here?

Do I have to tell you that birds fly and fish swim?

Do I have to tell you that they make cornbread with corn?

Do I have to tell you the Big Mac has two patties and special sauce?

The D'antoni/Lin pair sparked Lin-sanity. They were winning during that period. I'm sure you've seen the flood of videos.

D'Antoni was a nightmare for the Knicks. He is gone and they are much much better right now. Hiring him will be a disaster for this team. The problem with D'Antoni and McHale is the same. They both have their set philosophies and want the teams to adjust to them, rather than adjusting their strategies to suit the talents of the team.
