Eh, who knows, I voted with the 42% Perhaps..... but what does OP think? I'm curious because that isn't public yet OP "Likes" 68% of the replies so far....
It begs the question now... do we play any real contenders anymore? The only 3 teams in the league that have truly been above us over the past few season we've beaten (Cleveland, Golden State, San Antonio). We are 3-0 right now. To everyone else in the league we might as well be the Warriors. I actually feel the Rockets have a great shot of getting the #1 seed. Each year though they always seem to go through a hard stretch of games where they can't find the basket. But this year just seems different. Much like how the Astros were constantly coming from behind late in games and winning this Rockets team has no quit in them. 60 wins is definitely reality for this team this year and 65 is a nice target. But, I will wait until after the half way point (14 more games) and then the All-Star break before I get too excited
This really is a tough question. My head tells me that we need the #1 seed as I still see the Warriors the same type of team they were last year. My gut says that we can compete with anyone at anytime.
I’m all for avoiding the Spurs in the 2nd round. The team is clearly different from last year, and the West is very weak after the top 3 teams. I’d put my money on us playing OKC if we can get to the 2nd round(I think they kind of figure it out at some point) and no ones scared of OKC.
There are 3 strong teams in the West... the importance of the #1 seed is avoiding GSW/Spurs until the WCF
