All this is going to do is further push Morey to stick to his guns. I think an NBA offer would put more pressure on Morey than an Euroleague one.

If I knew I had a messed up back I would definitely chase the money! That said, I don't want us taking a huge gamble.

Yeah...... like I said, Morey ultimately doesn't care that much.

Playing hardball with a man who already traded you once is misguided.

I think all this is funny. Wish we held on to Beas though and traded DMo at peak value. But can't predict injuries.

Any type of free agent is free to sign anywhere, without getting FIBA clearance. See Josh Childress. Only players under contract require FIBA clearance to switch leagues ... which requires getting a release letter from their current team. DMo is not signed, so can switch leagues at will.

However, if/when the player comes back to the NBA, Houston will still have his RFA rights, and it all starts again. For example, when Josh Childress came back, his rights were traded by Atlanta.

And this is why BJ Armstrong needs to stop playing checkers while everyone is playing NBA2k17. If he's concerned about the best interests of his client then he would have either found a team that can offer more money or tell DMo to take the QO and play his ass off for a payday next summer.

It's not surprising that Armstrong's list of clients in the NBA isn't all that extensive:

But what about CF's newest insider? He said we were going to sign him at $4.4. If that was already known by someone in the Rockets org then why has it not happened yet?

Beasley was there in Miami (boot camp) with Harden (August 2nd-4th) and didn't want to participate later on August 31st?

DMo going overseas is literally the only outcome Rubioholic has not mentioned as a possibility, so yeah...he's definitely going overseas.

The only way that happens is if he gets a $3mm x 3 year contract. But then if he takes that, he knows he can't last very long.

    LOL - this is insane.

He cares because it is an NBA asset that he can use for the team's benefit.

Morey cares - about anyone he can use......oh he cares...because his job is on the line.
