another reason for DMO not getting to post up might be McHale is jellous someone could shine in the post game more than he shined...
I am sorry but mchale being jealous just make more sense than players being dumb...perhaps players are jealous of dmo? suddenly the worrst rocket player flowering into a star? hmm makes sense... On the other hand it all boils down to stupidy because, being jealous is kind a stupid... They are more than able of throwing those passes to him...the thing is they are not willing to pass it to him more often...and its on mchale or whoever is in charge...
Maybe our team hiding him before play-offs? I don't think McHale nor players are stupid or jealous. It's actually pretty hard to go post-up after post-up after post-up. He sometimes tired and need rest. Welp other times when he won position we tend to ignore him.
The answer is you're overrating him. You're acting like he's DeMarcus Cousins. He's our second option in ISO situations
Dmo is almost always guarded by the second best/smallest big man on the other team. He is almost never double teamed or denied position by the opposing team. Most likely the Rockets believe that featuring Dmo more would bring extra attention that he is not ready for.

What is the use of 3:54 of highlight video that includes 3 postups to a discussion of Dmo's post game? You can go to http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/202700/stats/shooting/ and see video of every shot Dmo has taken this season. If you watch them you will see who is correct. Over the last 10 games all of Dmo's numbers are up slightly. Maybe the team is bringing him along at what they feel is an appropriate pace.

That's a good example of what I am talking about. Generally, Dmo faces good defenders when the opposing team has 2 of them, like OKC or Chicago. He's almost never double teamed. One thing your video doesn't point out is that Dmo actually misses some of his shots. I'm not sure everyone is aware of that.
He misses some shots. Some. He's elite in there. Check out this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=261835
It's not really relevant, he gets really good looks on high percentage shots. You take that every day.
