Just for today though and only today. I want San Antonio to cream Golden State today so the Warriors won't have a humongous winning streak going to end the season. The lord knows ESPN wants the golden boy to win it already.

Be careful - the Spurs could end up being the number 2 seed.

Going 69-13 may provide additional ammunition for Curry as the MVP, and if Kerr does in fact play him up to final game, then we will know he cares just as much as Morey.

However, they can't be in conversation as one of best teams all-time unless they win it all - I seriously doubt this is a determining factor in who Kerr plays down the stretch. Just like Kentucky - they were a great team, but ultimately not good enough to finish it off and that, not the 38 straight wins, is what people will remember.

Same here. It would really help if the Spurs lost their next 2 before we face them on Wednesday.

I want the Warriors to win with Curry having a bad game.

Sure you can!!! MVP is for the best and most important player to his team. GSW could probably win 50 without Curry on the roster. Without Harden, the Rockets are PHX basically.

I would much rather have Curry win the MVP and us get the #2 seed than have Harden win the MVP for a 3rd-seeded Rockets team slated to play the Spurs/Clippers.

Splitter could miss both games against Houston this week.

Nothing particularly frightening on Splitter's MRI, Pop says, but Spurs to stay cautious. Likely to miss at least 3 more games after tonight
— Jeff McDonald (@JMcDonald_SAEN) April 5, 2015

i want the warriors to win, but for curry to have another garbage performance... only proves what everybody knows... that the warriors could be competitive even without him.

I would prefer a Spurs loss and let James performance stand on it's own. No player in the NBA has been better this season.

Spurs need to lose, MVP race isn't as important as leading the division.

Exactly. Harden has been the best NBA player this season. If not, then easily top 2.

This I agree on and if the Spurs lose to okc before playing us he migh resign them to the 6 seed and rest guys in 1 of the 2 against us

I want the Spurs to win. Our ideal situation for a path to the WCF or Finals is for the Spurs to be in the 4-5 bracket so they can take out the Warriors in the second round. Hopefully they drop both games to us and win the rest.

Any chance the standings can play out like this?

    2. Rockets
    3. Grizzlies
    4. Trailblazers
    5. Spurs
    6. Clippers
    7. Mavericks
    8. Thunder
