for those of you who have NBA LP on dish network - was the sacramento game blacked out for you?

I live in Vegas and wasn't at home, but my daughter was trying to record the game for me, and told me the screen said "not available for viewing in your area". This usually means that I'm in the Kings service area and thus blacked out..

however I know comcast had some issues with dish network - and I was wondering if others outside of houston got the game or not on Dish - NBA LP.

also has their been an inordinate number of game this year NOT on HD... it seems like only about 50% of games are in high def... whereas last year I felt like 80%

Yep...I live in Vegas too and was annoyed by this. But, on the bright side, I didn't have to listen to the King's announcers. They have got to be some of the most ridiculous redneck yocals with Tommy-Heinson-esque King-colored glasses.

I sucked it up and dealt with it. It'll happen two to three times a year, usually with the Lakers, Clippers, Kings or Warriors.

Just for future reference; I live in Australia and am currently subscribed to League Pass. I haven't run into any problems yet with blacking out or anything (Not with the Sacramento game either). However, in what circumstances would I be subjected to blacked out games?

I got LP in Dallas. I got the Houston broadcast. I suspect the Vegas thing is because of the King's owners have a big presence in Vegas as casino owners.

what I'm pissed about Dish Network, there are some random games that are NOT in HD yet the other providers, DirectTV/Comcast do have it in HD. Its not all games, but random, like the Cavs game wasn't, and yesterday's game was, and I'm even in Houston :(

Be thankful that you at least have multiple games in HD offered. With time warner in Austin, it's one HD game a night offered through league pass. I learned this after I paid nearly 200 for the service. SMH

One Fu@*$% game a day. Sometimes if there is a really early game and a really late game they will put two, but the teams they pick are random. The only NBALP game I've seen in HD of the rockets that wasn't on ESPN/TNT/NBATV was against the bulls.

Anyone else have the same experience with time warner and NBA league pass? Only one game chosen to be broadcast in HD a day?
