I think this is photoshopped from the pictures in the bar with the fan. Otherwise, his head would have to be way bigger than the chick's.

    INCORRECT.

    You meant to say:

Obviously, I think this is photoshopped from. blah.

    anyhoo.

I didn't read all the thread, but, believe it or not, you may have the highest iq, and score high on the wlic, or you may have the lowest iq, and score low on the wlic, but if you suck at doing interviews, you suck at doing interviews.

I don't see how scores on a test will see how you do in front of a mic and a camera.

If it's obvious, why do you say it, Dirk? Oh. That's right. You can't think any deeper than that. I apologize; it was my mistake. :D

I'd hate to hear some of stuff said about players who use the phrase "Y'know what I'm sayin'" as a verbal crutch after every declaratory statement.

The thought of Dirk saying "Obviously" over and over gotta be the most annoying thought ever. I can imagine that big cave man trying to be smart (smart ass) and sophisticated, using the world "obviously" over and over..

On PTI today it took Dirk less than 4 seconds to say his initial "obviously". He was asked 6-8 questions and said "obviously" 6 times, twice in 1 response. This would make one mean drinking game.

Yeah I also counted. 6 times in 5 minutes isn't too bad. I was focused more on the locker room though.

That's obviously because Dirk is obviously the most arrogant player in the NBA, isn't that obvious?

At least he's not, like, you know, talking like, a school girl, I mean, you know? Coming from Germany, he speaks much better english than a lot of the home grown variety. 'Fo shizzle.

Man, I really wish he'll work hard on his laguage skillz next offseason and come back with a wicked obvious schoolgirl fo sho crossover style. Just like he revolutionized the PF position, he could revolutionize talking.

I hate Dirk the Maverick because he's a Mav.
I hate Dirk the basketball player because he's one of the most prolific floppers in the league.
But I think Dirk the person is probably pretty cool. The dude is so laid back. Yeah, could be because he's drunk, but nonetheless.

But I have to hate Dirk the Maverick.... because he's a Mav.

The "obviously" is actually meant to express modesty, I think - meaning that he tries to downplay the importance of what he is saying - as in "it's obvious but please allow me to say it anyway". So I think those who think it's meant to express arrogance are wrong. Obviously :p.
