That wasn't Curry, that was Baron Davis that took out the Mavs and ushered Avery Johnson out the door. He's been a whiny flopper forever except for 2011 when he single handedly took the Mavs to a title. For all his flopping, can't take away 2011.

This is old but satisfying in its way. It's just passion... like for soccer.

He didn't mean Curry -- he meant Cap'n Jack -- but you're correct about Baron.

Correction, Tyson Chandler was the rock of the Mavs defense in 2011. Without him, Dirk wouldn't have won a championship.
The very next year, Dirk was beaten in the 1st round. He felt Tyson's absence greatly.

2015 Tyson Chandler is still good, but he is no longer at his peak.

Curry did not shut Dirk down.

    Neither did Baron Davis.

    Stephen (Jackson) did however.

Dirk did not single handily take that team to the title. Without the perimeter defense of Kidd and Marion coupled with Chandler's interior defense, Dirk would have been another second round or so exit.

Still a career flopping whiner b****. Nothing can take that away from him.

My bad, I forgot about Jackson, the modern Mad Max. Chandler was a giant component but Dirk took his game to another level, especially against the Thunder and in helping the Mavs come back in game 1 against the Heat. I am not a fan but respect him for 2011.

He needed Chandlers defense but Chandler needed him as well, otherwise neither have a title.

Dang I missed the TJ reaction! I remember that play and Dirk yelling.

Joey Crawford is THE WORST. Glad we got him in game 1, hopefully that means we won't have him again for a while.

Dirk's teeth look yellow because of the mouth piece he has in.

Dallas fans are shouting about Harden's flopping. Houston fans are shouting about Dirk's flopping. It's the NBA, everyone flops. If you ain't flopping, you ain't trying.

I remember when he was regarded as a soft whining flopper by much of the league. I guess a title and a filthy fadeaway can make people forget.

Dude excessively whines and barks at his own teammates which is what makes things kind of unbearable. I bet T. Chandler is sick of him already. He did this to Eric Dampier as well if you guys don't recall.

    THANK YOU!

I just read in another thread "I would have loved nothing more than Dirk to spend his entire career with the Rockets." It gave me chills of the heebie jeebie variety.
