I missed where the Judge said this. I hope it's true but I don't remember reading that.

It wasn't a direct quote, but stemmed more from the timeline he set and telling the CSN counsel that he would imagine that they would be able to get it done by the deadlines he set. Just my take from what I heard in the courtroom today

I saw the confirmation hearing set for Oct 2, which I think parties can object at this hearing. I'm not sure if the Judge rules on objections that day or what happens then.

Yeah I don't know enough about BK law to say for sure. I just saw that the big issue for the CSN people was the valuation, which they might have ironed out in the disclosure statement but it seemed like it would take longer. I believe that's why Judge Isgur encouraged them to begin discovery by getting their experts deposed as soon as they could. Ideally they would have made objections in the September hearing and then the October one would be the final one I think and would hopefully not delay the process even more. (Again, take what I say with a grain of salt) if somebody knows more about bk law feel free to clarify. I just had the opportunity to sit in at the hearing today so thought I'd relay what I heard

You shouldn't of had it to big with, you were part of the problem. Meanwhile, my pride and I had to suffer through streaming and scheming. I would love if some VPs and Directors got fired at comcast over this.

Actually if more people had left their providers to go to Comcast, it would have forced their competition to get the channel to stop losing subscribers to Comcast.

yes. I switched over from AS&S last year...saved 50% on the total deal by getting rid of their over priced land lines...and hey...CSN is a damn good channel so I see where comcrap put the money.

It will be a regional so sorry for the loss of local sports talk....eh ? Nothing quite like listening to plastered up Ken doll announcers tellin us how wonderful the mavs/cowpukes are and those arena football games to git yer houtex blood boilin...

btw: I work for a provider in houtex......(neither one of them...)

With the pending AT&T/Directv merger it will be the same as CSN if the judge allows them to buy it (just more viewers than CSN). Not sure what this will mean for Comcast and Dish but hopefully something will be worked out
