http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2001/0918/1252548.html CLEVELAND -- DeSagana Diop, the Cleveland Cavaliers' first-round draft pick who was chosen to back up a veteran center with foot problems, will be sidelined for at least two weeks with foot problems. How sad for the cavs, they have some kind of center foot problem curse. I would be scared If i was a center and I got traded to the cavs. Do you think Cato plays like the way he does because he thinks he is playing for cleveland?
When they drafted him I was surprised because they were already saying Diop had some issues with his foot. They already have Z with foot problems, and I'd think that would scare them away from Diop. But, it didn't. When Z and Diop are healthy, the Cavs will be monsters in the paint. Unfortunately, that won't be too often.
