The need to work Dikembe into our Legacy of Bigs banner outside Toyota Center. I don't know how they'd do it. Maybe take Dwight Howard out or something.
It's really interesting how Deke has become so well-known for his time in Houston when his peak years were with the Hawks.
There's absolutely no way he goes in as a Rocket. He averaged 15 minutes a game here. He should go in as a Nugget but could choose the Hawks.
Im a big Deke fan but he was not a HOF caliber player (not in college or pros). Great defender but no offense. He was not in the same category as Dream, Shaq, Walton, Russell, Wilt or even Robinson, Ewing. As much as I like Deke, I hate to see the HOF watered down.
He is very deserving of this honor. I feel to this day, that the Nuggets made a big mistake in letting him go.
It's not just about scoring. Otherwise Rodman would have never made it. Plus, he's done so much humanitarian work to promote the NBA on a global scale.
