I'm sure Morey and Tillman proceeded with this in mind.

Oh well. We got rid of dead weight while still adding an able body, get over it.

Well, that’s the thing that bothers me. The bad business decisions. All of them. Do you trust that.

But it isn’t picking stocks. At all. It’s building a basketball team. If you want a perfect gm than you’re not going to have a gm. Morey took some risks on guys partly out of necesssity and partly because he believed in them. It didn’t work out, but he got out of the hole with minimal damage. You want a guy who recognizes mistakes and fixes them with.

Daryl never ever overpay or sign anyone in the offseason.
Only do trades during the deadline, Daryl can't sign good free agents or know how to draft.

The mistake fixing has been crazy this season.

You can’t have guys put in the team in the fly and expected to work while talking about a window. I want to see some stability and progress. This is a bit too much for me.

Don’t forget Morey was gambling on those low value potential high reward players during the summer. Things didn’t turn out what we hoped for so now Morey is trying to fix the problem.

It’s not easy to always get a chance to fix your problem and still be moving forward. I think Morey has done what best anyone could do in this situation.

Man, all the whiners and crybabies on this board would have been happy with giving "Zero Points" Ariza and "Can't Layup" Luc all the money in the offseason and handicapping this team.

I'm glad Morey is the GM and not these fools. He took calculated risks and self-corrected upon learning from his mistakes.

I have been behind Morey most of the time.

But this season, the roster change is a bit too much to my liking

In and out so many these guys like a revolving door.

We were just one game away from winning it all last year and James is having a phoneminal year. What are we exactly searching for?

Luxury tax aside. Could this also be effect of CP’s singing?

Be careful--not everyone understands that you need functioning shoulders to actually play basketball.

Yeah, but the Roster is looking pretty good now with Faried, Shumpert, Rivers, and maybe someone else...If we can stay healthy, this Rockets team will be better than last year's team.

Takes time to have guys feel each other out and know their roles.

Morey found pieces he thought would help the Rockets. They didn't work out so he's finding new pieces and getting rid of those unfit pieces. What exactly is the problem here? And hes doing this all before the trade deadline. You have teams trying to make their unfit pieces work for multiple seasons.

Not really. The main pieces are the same. You can’t sign Ariza for $15m and Luc wasn’t the same player after his shoulder. Morey had to replace that with something at a reasonable cost, it just didn’t work out. But it’s trending in the right direction now. I’m not sure what people are complaining about.

and when morey does pay free-agent he gets conned by 33 year old cp3 and 35 year old nene. I mean what gm in their right mind would have offered those players 4 year deals

Don’t we need to sign these pieces next season with more money or else just let them walk?
