I thought Lugo was error prone, whereas, Everett seems pretty good fielding wise. But yea we seemed to jettison him off after that family stuff.

His wife recanted her story on the witness stand, IIRC. Which doesn't really prove anything unfortunately as that's a viscious cycle at abuse victims fall into.

No. Everett is playing like a gold glove winner. As bad as the rest of our defense is, it's vital for him to make the plays that he does at SS. Plus he's a better base runner and bunter. Who knows, mayve Everett's offense will continue to get better.
