So we give up Isaiah Canaan and three second round picks to get the Italian version of Jason Terry and another wing player that is going to be buried at the end of the bench. We have three power forwards that will give similar outputs, yet we don't get someone who can facilitate an offense when Harden is out. When playoff time comes, I just think our roster is too predictable. Hopefully Morey is not undervaluing the present because he is so focused on the future.
Based on the names on paper this looks like a real wash-out. Hopefully that's not the case and they'll help us later. Wish we got a big though to get Dorsey out of the starting lineup.
Yes, but we gave up: 2 second rounders and a backup PG who, for whatever reason, was buried on the bench. In exchange, we got another player who can help with Dwight out and a player who handles the ball and shoots better than Terry to play spot minutes when we need him. Would've liked to have kept Canaan but for whatever reason, he wasn't gonna play here.
It looks like we actually got worse at shooting the ball, I am not sure what Morey has against guys that can score the ball, he keeps giving up efficient offensive players for guys that are athletic can play a little D but not score - you know why Golden State kicks our ass every time now? They have two way players....we have one way players....and when we go on our offensive lulls when Harden is a bit off, we have no one else to pick up the slack. Canaan was one of our best shooters - and we get rid of him for a guy shooting below 40%...yes!!! Ugh. DD
Our rotation stays the same. Doesn't change much except maybe Prigioni getting some minutes. He's a good shooter
les doesn't have to pay lux tax and morey can still daytrade the team's assets this summer - mission accomplished
Who uh, can't stay in front of my dead grandmother. Who can't shoot the ball under 40% overall and under 30% from 3s. DD
I am ok with Mcdaniels, but the Prgioni move has me puzzled. What does he offer that Jason Terry does not?
He finds one way players at a discount and hopes they can fit in the system and average up. I'm disappointed about this entire chain of events. Seems like Dwight's health and cap uncertainty in '16-17 has pretty much ****ed this year up in getting serviceable help.
