Was last night the first that a No.1 pick was booed loudly by audience?

I don't understand. Even if I do understand, I'm still disgusted.

Sadly, getting booed may become the routine welcome gesture to Ming from fans of other teams when the Rockets visit them, especially the Big Apple.

Boy, look at all these hurdles this kid has to overcome, just because he wants to do something he's always been dreaming to do!

Knick fans are never happy unless they are winning. Most Knick fans are pissed because Dice didn't waive his "out" clause so he can leave the Knicks after a year if he wants. Secondly, Knick fans wanted Andre Miller more than Dice. They are supposedly about to pull the trigger ona Kurt Thomas/Charlie Ward for Nick Van Exel deal sometime soon

NY fans are never happy. They even criticize the Yanks sometimes. I would hate to play in NY if I were a baller except for the fact the would probably pay me twice what I was worth.:D

The Mavs may want to dump Nick's salary here. Kurt Thomas would bring some rebounding and interior defense that the Mavs desperately need.

Oh man, I thought they were chanting "over-ray-ted" not "fire-lay-den". Makes more sense.

When Thompson was interviewing Layden, they must have shut off the sound to the theater.

The NBA really needs to consider holding the draft somewhere else. I'm sick and tired of watching 75% of players on the happiest day of there life getting booed. I did enjoy when Vescey got booed though. <big smile>
