https://twitter.com/OfficialNBARefs I haven't seen Scott Foster's name since Fed 23rd or am I missing something? Has anyone noticed him referee a game since Feb23rd? If he was suspended, the league wouldn't broadcast it lol.
Vacation. Family Matters. Sick. Etc. Let's not jump straight to "did the league realize scott foster been fcking houston and quietly punished him" when we only have "he's been out for a week"
Let's not act like it's not a valid question. Lots of smoke around Scott Foster, his officiating and his off the court relationships. His last game was Feb 23 Dallas @ Utah
I did a **** ton of research on Foster a couple of weeks ago and there was an instance this season where Foster didn't officiate for like a week and it came after the Mavericks/Lakers game on 11/30/2018 where JJ Barea got ejected while on the bench. While he did officiate a game right after, I think the media coverage and complaints from BOTH teams after the game led to whatever ruling committee that oversees the officials decided to let him have a "cool off" period. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...s-jj-barea-ejected-bench-referee-scott-foster That game saw: JJ Barea getting ejected Lonzo Ball fouling out Jevale McGee fouling out Brandon Ingram committing 5 fouls Foster called 5 fouls and 2 Techs (Barea) in the last quarter. Interestingly enough, the next time a star player made headlines complaining about the officiating was Embiid for a 2/12/19 game against the Celtics and one of the officials working the game was Foster. The next game Foster would officiate in would be more than a week later for the Rockets game against the Lakers.
you can call it a contradiction, I call it a correction (transparency). Do you want to stay on topic or debate? Its not really out of the realm of possibility that a ref like Scott Foster could be sat down for a while considering all we know. Vacation? possibly, Sick...hmmm ok. Seeing his absence after that fiasco in LA and Donaghy's comments the next day, the question remains......did you think the league possibly are looking into this scum bag?
this part of your post is very unlikely. foster is routinely assigned to the most important games every year, such as our game 7. he is doing nothing independent of the league's instructions/agenda.
I think Harden calling him out singlehandedly kept the Lakers out of the playoffs, way to much scrutiny to try to pull what they did in 2013.
