Did Kawhi just take the MVP from Harden tonight?

Kawhi definitely deserves it more than Westbrook. Kawhi is leading a 2 seed team. The bench didn't ri
Right. It's really hard to argue at this point for Harden over Kawhi. Spurs have second best record in the league and are within striking distance of 1 seed. Kawhi won that game tonight in the 4th.

Harden's MVP campaign is almost over...

I knew it.. Harden absolutely had to win this game. He almost did it..

Good thing this wasn't on national TV.

I think the reaction to this game and Kahwi is a good measure to distinguish between a fair-minded fan and just flat out homer. Just sayin'.

It would have been nice if Harden didn't have four straight lazy turnovers in the 3rd to give them a nice run. We were down with Harden on the bench to start the 4th, and the team gave him a lead when he returned which he promptly relinquished. And wen did Lou Williams start sucking?

Absolutely not. The NBA season is an 82 game tantric session of superstars taking turns going to town on one another. There is plenty of time for James to provide the crescendo O face for all of the NBA to see. Just one L face in 82. No worries.

Kawhi tonight starting in the 3rd quarter when pop tasked him on to harden had like 3 straight possessions that lead to turnovers or bad possessions until we switched in NeNe. That was a very brilliant defensive effort for him.

And I mean we will all hear and all know about the huge 3 over NeNe and the chase down block on Harden.

Harden was great tonight. Truly he was fantastic. Kawhi I think equalled his game tho and he was directly responsible for the win at the end.

Kinda glad it didn't get put on national broadcast lol. But I don't think it puts him ahead in the race. What I do think it does is make him the clear 2nd choice over Westbrook.

I can't say nothing bad about Kawhi he really played great tonight.

    But really, no foul call?

No. Kawhi played great down the stretch and certainly made a case for himself, but he didn't take it from Harden. James also played great but barely got any help tonight. I also find it hilarious that so many people claim the refs give Harden any call he wants yet Kawhi airballed a three and they just called a foul on Ariza since he missed. That call also changed the game considering we lost by 2. Although this loss hurts, one game does't change anything.

I don't think it's hard to argue at this point at all. But who in the media will make the case? The argument is there and VERY strong for Harden but no one wants to try that hard to argue Harden's case.

Kawhi is in the MVP race, but one game over the Rockets won't put him there.

Rockets shot 36% from the three point line and got nothing from anyone not named harden and still should have won in san Antonio thanks to hardens huge performance so it's not as clear cut.

No help tonight. Go check the box score fellas. Outside of Harden, team was 27% from 3.

We should have won this game....the fact we lost by 2 gives me hope for a series against them. We had a lot of things break against us in this game....won't always happen like that.

If Kawhi had someone go 1-10, would it still be a close game?

I think the press has already sort of written the narrative of Westbrook vs Harden, but Kawhi is a better player than both of them.

I'm disappointed in Anderson, Gordon, Ariza, and Williams.

All played sub par. All had great looks all night.

Rockets are really close to becoming a true championship contender.

Need to learn to play with discipline.Hardens three straight turnovers in the second half when Kawahi came on him was the decider for the night.

    How?

    Sure hasn't been this season.

You do realize Kawahi creates 33ppg as compared to Harden who creates 56 and rebounds better.

    Shhhhh
