Deshaun surpassed Dan Marino and is only 2nd to Kurt Warner in most TD passes through a QBs first 15 games. Warner 36 Watson 34 Marino 32 Mahomes probably gets there (he has 22 in 8)
He's going to sprinkle some more games like the one he had against the Jags (0 TDs 2 INTs). I think he's coming back down to earth as the season progresses.
That could be true, who knows. I mean he put up 18 touchdowns against Pittsburgh, NE, San Diego, and Cincinnati, who all have winning records. But, he does have to face the Chargers again, along with the Rams and Ravens, who also have winning records. He might put up more touchdowns against teams like Oakland, Browns, Cardinals, Denver, and the Seahawks though. I mean, who knows, Watson could catch him playing only one team left with a winning record. We have an easy schedule left, so that helps.
Those teams aren't known for their world class defenses. The Jags were a good test with their pass defense and both weren't great. Ravens will be another good test for Pat and the Eagles for Deshaun. Broncos are pretty good too but their running defense is horrible. They say a rookie QBs best friend is a tight end. Chiefs have a really good one. Also a really good RB and a steady line. All that in a system tailor made for him and it's not hard to see why he is successful.
Very true, but their offensive line is average. Most of the plays he makes on the run, avoiding sacks. I love watching him, but worry he will get hurt doing all the running around like Watson did last year.
