Its so close..
Patrick Beverly will be interested in seeing him again. In Hoops Reality, Beverly's high school team lost to DRose's Simeon school for the Chicago city championship. Their paths meet again.
Cool! Did not know that Beverly was from Chicago. But I thought we already played Chicago twice, so that rematch won't happen till next season (unless both teams make it to the finals).
Why are so many people infatuated in a strange way with Derrick Rose? Got it - he won an MVP he should t have and is a top 5 PG. interestingly his team is still very solid without him. A Bulls fan? Ok then. But otherwise...?
I watched some of it. He said he came from a rough hood where survival was everything. And that he would die on the (basketball) court. That it's his life. I respect him more, but I can't stand watching the Bulls. They are boring when Rose doesn't have the ball.
People already forgot about Rose this season. Can't wait until his return to show the world don't sleep on him
Tell that to David Stern. He's fapping off a good one now. I don't think the kid should come back so soon, but whatever.
This is excellent news for me - Rose has been one of my favorite non-rockets to watch in this league and the way he - like durant- wanted to win where he was and take the challenge on made me respect him even more. I really hope though that he comes back just as strong if not stronger than before - that injury was pretty tough and if he loses his explosiveness it will be hard to be the guy he once was but considering how some other players (Adrian Peterson) were able to come back from their injuries there is hope for Rose.
Its hard not to pull for Rose....by all accounts he seems to be a hard working, introverted young man who overcame tremendous odds to get to where he is today. Oh.....and he's damn talented.
i can hardly cheer for Durant anymore so much calls that favor him and i think he kind of started to expect calls from the ref
That's why he gets T-ed up all the time now. He's changing. Just hope he doesn't go as far as Tyson. #truth
Like others have said, it's just easy to root for someone like him. I've actually asked this question to some of my friends that are Bulls fans, and I think their answer is the real reason why I think I hope he succeeds. He grew up in one of the most violent neighborhoods in this country, so survival was first and foremost. He's such a humble person, he seems to want to win a championship for his city and he'll do anything to get it. It's hard to find a star these days in the league that wouldn't just bolt for another team if things didn't work out for his current team, Rose is one of those. The Bulls should feel lucky to have a player like that.
