    So, CP3 will probably end up in NY in 2012 after the Nets made this move (I do not see why D-will wouldn't sign an extension). Yup, the West is being gutted big time. Going to be a lot easier to make it into the playoff's next year.

    definitely. They only used 2 picks, instead of the 4 they were offering for Melo. They got rid of Devin Harris, who wanted a trade anyway. And they trade a guy with unlimited potential, but is a project for now. Good trade for the Nets. Now they just need Brook Lopez to grab some rebounds!

    Great trade for NJ...knew something was up once Sloan left...but why not cut Deron earlier and keep Sloan...

    eh, who cares, j*zz suck...

    Ohhh, I agree with that.

    He would be absolutely awesome on this team.

    But as of right now, it is nothing more than a pipe dream.

    Should be interesting to see what they do the next 2 years. I think Lopez/Deron can seriously make some noise in the East.

    They can't stop him from walking.

    I doubt they expected to trade Deron. The Melo saga ended and NJ made Utah an offer they couldn't refuse.

    But Rockets are still ranked #12th in the west.

    Jazz's rebuilding will be much faster and smoother than the Rockets. They got their picks and their future star already.

    Wow. Cant believe they pulled in the better Superstar anyways in my opinion. I guess Utah saw what they were offering for Carmelo and couldnt pass it up?

    Jazz about to deal Deron Williams

    Too bad he won't be coming to Houston, but this definitely opens up the race for the 7th and 8th seeds. I'm probably in the minority but I'd like to see Morey make a trade to get us in position to contend for those last 2 spots.

    I guess he's talking about Millsap? Not sure.

    They've got Big Al and Okur on the books for next season. I'd say we're in better shape.
