This reminds me of NY situation. Not every player wants to sign the longest contract. Thus, I think it will be no problem for NY to sign a couple of max players this summer.
I don't get Utah...they haven't made one significant move in the last 4 or 5 seasons, yet every year they (or at least media/ESPN) expect to be huge contenders. They've literally had more or less the same team in this time span. What do they think will change each year?
As much as I HATE the Jazz....it's almost embarassing to say that D Williams is probably my favorite player to watch. He's plays hard...he doesn't talked noise....no flopping....just bust who ever guarding him ass and goes back down court. This kid is a stud....bring him back to Texas
Deron does everything equally as well as CP3 with more size and better build. He IS the best pg in the league.
lol get over it already. time to move on. no regrets man. now if we could get deron. how much would that piss off jazz fans??? id love to see that happen.
I'd agree that Deron shouldn't be happy... BUT, why has Ronnie taken a step back this year? He seems like he should have taken a step forward. With his physical tools, and the minutes he gets, he should be a 15 point, 5 rebound, 3 assist type player. Still, they just gave him away.
I'd agree with you, except Nash plays no defense. At all. This is why Chris Paul is the best. The guy has a career steals per game average of 2.4 (Nash never averaged more than one). Chris also has a considerably better defensive rating and win share every year than Nash..and Deron. I think Paul is head and shoulders the best.
Disagree, CP3 is one inch better than D Will. He brings an all around game to the table; court vision, playmaking, defense/steals, shooting, and a great leader. They both are great but Paul is slightly better, imo.
I'd like to see how good he was without Okur and Boozer keeping defenders away from the basket for him.
LOL The first thing I said about that trade yesterday that it was horrible for the Jazz. It's just like us getting rid of Ariza to get under the luxury tax. It's a backward move. That said the guy is signed there a long time, unless he absolutely demands to get out, he'll be there for a while...but lol...
