Because they run great offenses, and they have point guards who can close games. Ty Lawson might be one of the most underrated players in the nba. all their teams have to do is keep games close and then their point guards can close.

when your closer is your best ball handler, you are kind of like the 89-90 pistons. champions. kind of like the 05 pistons.

Right, lets point to the 05 Pistons and ignore the Bulls, Lakers, Rockets, Mavs and Heat.

The teams with the best players almost always win. Great PGs or not.

Haha the Nuggets, really? I'll bite on the Clippers; it's very possible.

    But the Nuggets? No.

They're just another one of those regular season teams full of enough talent to make the playoffs, but not enough to actually win without a big star.

The Clippers could sneak in there. But Denver hasnt proven it can win on the road (13-20), and so they are unlikely to advance in a series where they do not have home court advantage, which for them would only be the first round.

LOL Lawson hits one game winner last night and he's instantly knee-jerked ahead of Durant, who's hit tons of game winners in his career....
