Why does Jason Kidd always come as a behind the scenes douche?

Why do some people still believe that just because you were a great player, you must be able to be a great coach and great GM?

I have 0 faith in Kidd as a GM/President of an NBA franchise. he has literally zero experience and probably is not very knowledgable in regards to the CBA and salary cap rules...

Kidd just jumping ship because he knows Brooklyn is screwed with how that roster is put together and all the draft picks they gave up.

Yup, my inference on his writing style tells me he had 3 scrambled eggs, 2 sausages, and a hash brown for breakfastbut dropped the hash brown.

    Wow.

This is a pretty crazy turn of events. This would be a huge coup for Milwaukee if they can poach him. I'm not even necessarily sure Kidd is a good coach but he is a high profile guy and someone current NBA players have a ton of respect for. He would instantly bring an air of legitimacy to the Milwaukee Bucks franchise.

Coach Larry Drew and GM John Hammond are probably sweating bullets since they are holdovers from the previous ownership group. Between Jabari Parker, Greek Freak, Larry Sanders, Ilyasova, and Henson Milwaukee has a decent frontcourt. OJ Mayo was terrible last year but should bounce back since he was just out of shape and pouting over not getting a decent offer from Dallas. Brandon Knight is meh, a decent long range shooter with poor ball-handling/decision making skills. If they can get a decent PG they'll probably be over .500 with enough young guys and cap-flexibility to improve going forward. Come to think of it Jeremy Lin would fit great with them. I'll be watching them a bit more closely this upcoming year.

I don't know what the collective psyche of that fanbase is like but on the outside looking in I think the 2014 calendar year has been good to them so far. Greek Freak has proven to be a viable NBA-level talent and a great personality. They got the most NBA-ready prospect in the draft in Jabari Parker and more importantly, he seems genuinely excited to be in Milwaukee. It could be worse. I bet Minnesota fans are looking at Milwaukee with pure envy.
