We inherited rodeo tickets for the night she was playing this year, and surprisingly she actually has a pretty strong voice. Not my kind of music at all, but she can definitely sing live. We left after 3 songs instead of our original plan of 1.
Looks like she got herself into shape. Her music, like much of today's Top 40 mush, is almost unlistenable. But these photos help make up for it.
The last line of this post adds a profound perspective to the whole thing. I would give more support to the ideas of good voice all of that, but it would only end up saying what you said in a much less artful way.
I didn't post it directly in the OP, but she has always been a pretty girl but nothing special -- I'm not sure if it's all the physical work she is putting in or aging into a woman's face (instead of a girl's), or both -- but whatever it is she has hit that next level. And for that I commend her and honor her with a Clutchfans T&A thread.
