If I was Cousins I'd be pissed playing with a couple of ball hogs running the the point position as well.

More likely they will sit side by side at the end of the bench grumbling to each other with towels on their heads.

Would be amusing to watch :)

You definitely have to try to get him if he's available (I think it would be smarter for the Kings to just replace Westphal). He is immature, but so are a lot of 21-year-olds. This sort of reminds me of the Chris Webber-Don Nelson clash in Golden State. I'm willing to bet that McHale would be able to get the best out of Cousins.

Actually that could work. We got Patterson and Chuck will tell him about us. Hope he get his head straight on.

At the right price, you take the chance. Don't give the farm for him.

My guess is that Cousins threw a temper tantrum and said he wanted to be traded in the heat of the moment. However Cousins' Agent's statement was very unprofessional in the remark about Westphal feeling the heat about losing his job. I didnt think that was necessary to get his point accross.

Wouldnt be surprised if The King's GM's phone isnt being blow off the hook with crappy offers for Cousins. Doubt the Kings would seriously try and trade him though. They have the leverage and the paychecks to deny Cousins if he refuses to play or gets himself fined by the team or the NBA.

Not the first player to clash with a couch, Magic Johnson ran one out of town too...it happens.

The Kings need a PG. Lowry for Cousins.

It reminds me of the Kuester situation in Detroit. If the coach has really lost all his players, then it's not on Cousins. He is only one unhappy player out of many unhappy players. I don't think eliminating Westphal will do their offense any good though.

The failure to provide a capable point guard is a front office issue. Unless they get a coach well versed in a motion offense that doesn't depend on a great PG, there is not much they can do. They either need to trade for a PG or go to Adelman's old offense or try the triangle offense. It would be impossible to teach that offense on the fly to a bunch of rooks and sophmores with no training camp

This is a dream scenario for an opportunist like Morey.

Git'r'dun if the price is right.

I am keeping track of all the people who are in love with Cousins, just in case.

Why is Westphal still a coach in this league? The dude can't coach.

    The players are already rebelling.

Cousins is right. There is no set offense for the Kings. It was painful to watch the past three games. Westphaul needs to be fired. Cousins isn't helping by pouting though. I really hope he gets it together and matures.

Many of them live in Kentucky, where being in love with, and marrying, cousins is the norm.

They really screwed up by replacing Adelman with Westphal.

Adelman's motion offense would have worked better than Westphal's offense for a team with no true pg.

    Intriguing talent, but he's nuts.
