argument is basically wins which is the most important thing by far. Again Harden takes guys like lin, parsons, and asik to the playoffs because he makes them better. While cousins continues to be a lottery team and makes nobody better and you want to make a trade for that player

I would say that the Rockets relationship with Harden is more Husband and Wife with kids then it is just a casual girlfriend dating relationship.

You don't get a divorce over your wife and you having a couple fights, and her forgetting to pick the kids up from school a few times in a row. Houston and Harden have much more invested then a casual role player would, and while Harden deserves the criticism for his play this season, there should be MUCH MUCH more insistence from this fanbase to try and make it work.

Instead we are acting like petulant teens who act like their girlfriend was seen in the halls passing notes to Johnny Football, and we go sit in the corner feeling sorry for ourselves.

The Rockets and Harden have been through much already, and NEED TO TRY TO MAKE IT WORK. You guys are talking about Divorce with a lengthy court room process and a falling out from your children type of sports scenario. It should be taken more seriously (In sports terms of course... Sports shouldn't be that serious in reality)

Their second best player this year is Kosta Koufos.

    That franchise is garbage.

2nd best player..that's hilarious. your scouting report on who's better than who on teams is ridiculously wrong. it's no wonder you think cousins is this good then.

Lol, there is no reason if you are the Rockets you are trading Cousins straight up for Harden.

Now, if you want to talk about trading the farm for Cousins to pair with Harden then we can have this discussion if it is worth trading a bunch of our players and gutting our team for him. Otherwise no.

They are around the same age so it makes even less sense then.

Sorry, I have no patience for idiotic nonsense based around hurt feels.

Correct. Harden, thus far has not repeated his Jordan-esque season from the prior year. He has only performed at a normal super star level thus far.

Oh I see, your expectations are that he play at Jordan's level, every year. And when he doesn't live up to your ridiculous expectations, you start advocating trading him after just 20 games, despite near 300 games of excellence.

Who the **** cares. If you have the opportunity to trade Harden for Steph, LeBron, or Kawhi, then you have a reasonable discussion about it.

Otherwise, lock this abortion of a thread.

    So much fail.

    1) He was nowhere near Jordan.
    2) He's nowhere near "normal superstar" level this year
    3) That's a non-answer on why other superstars have actually maintained or IMPROVED
    4) Asking a max player to be consistent is not "ridiculous expectations"

If you want to keep living in last year, go ahead. I hope you recorded the games.

    But it's not an argument.

Harden may be a piece of shet now, but when his head is together he is top 5 in the league

Cousins has always been just a piece of shet that doesn't have his head screwed on right.

he has never shown he has what it takes to contribute to winning, in fact a lot of the time he does the opposite.

1.) 2015 Harden was Jordan-esque. It was one of the greatest seasons by a SG, alongside 2003 McGrady and 2009 Wade, and multiple years of Jordan. This is statistically proven.
2.) Yes, he is. Statistically, he very similar to 2013 season, with his 3 point shooting holding him up a bit. He is still a significant positive on the court, in line with other lower tier stars.
    3.) The question is irrelevant
4.) Harden has been consistently good, with flashes of excellence, and sustained periods of excellence. That's normal variation for an NBA player.

And even if it is not, Cousins is worse at all of these things.

Again, your points are stupid, the thread is stupid, and this thread is an abortion.

Well shucks, they only have a player that has like 5 triple doubles this season, also averaging 12.5 points, 11 asts, and 7 rebounds. All while shooting a very respectable 44% from the field and 37% from 3. Oh yea and he has an assist to turnover ratio of nearly 3:1.

But yea the back up big averaging 9 pts and 7 rebs is clearly their 2nd best player.

    Troll, troll, troll, troll, troll.

Prove that Harden 2015 was as good as peak Jordan.

Please lay out the case so we can have a good laugh.

If you can't handle the idea of trading one star for another star, then stay off the internet.

    3) is not irrelevant. When is the last time a superstar dropped off this hard?

Why are Curry and Leonard improving?

    Lol Rondo?

Sac is the only franchise dumb enough to offer him more than the min.

    His win shares/ 48 is .083.

    His TS% is .485.

Any team with Rondo as their second best player is going nowhere.
