Why the eff do these idiots keep carrying weapons? I'm sick of all these morons thinking they need to be armed to the teeth while being multi- millionaires. They have all this money and need to go out and show off to their boys or some crap...but they need to make sure they can still stick a gun in someone's face if they give them a hard time. What? Is he going to blow someone's head off if they steal his dorky 3 wheeler? I just don't get these guys.
It's probably scary to be a famous person sometimes so I can see why you would want to carry a weapon. However, I don't see why some of these guys need 20 guns. 1 or 2 hand guns is fine but what the heck do you need a shotgun for?
Delonte's an idiot (and apparently has a number of mental issues), but after the Sean Taylor thing I'm generally inclined to give pro athletes a pass when it comes to owning weapons.
Don't forget the fact that several athlete's have been robbed at their homes too. Michael Jordan's own father was assassinated. In other words, owning weapons is not bad, it's actually a right we have under the constitution of the US. If it was good enough for our founding fathers it is good enough for me. The only problem is that they are carrying guns illegally. That's the problem, not gun carrying by itself. Anyways, Sean Taylor's case demonstrates fully what could happen if not properly protected. May he rest in peace.
