Im surprise he could shoot himself, couldnt shoot at all last night. joking. i like his argentinian gunslinger swag.
You forgot to mentioned one name who is a vet PF who can consistently hit mid range jumpers, have above average post game, hustles, plays with a lot of heart and can be the veteran leader this young team needs. He is also a team mate of Delfino in the international scene. Sca....Sca....Sca.....Scola!! I know, i know, we had to let him go because we were rebuilding a young team but i wonder what would be our record if he was still around with this team. When he was let go, they didnt have Harden yet but i feel Scola would have played well with Harden and Lin.
more like what did I do to deserve having to play defense (taking the charge) against Okafor, Humphries , etc. I remember Chuck Hayes once tried to take a charge from Shaq and got injured.
I think most of the posters here, like morey, don't really give a &$?@ about Patterson leading us to 48 wins and a first round playoff exit. You may be spot on, and this trade may hurt us in the short term. I've always trusted moreys long term vision and I'm not gonna stop now cus he traded away a [PF (-P)]
Yeah, i dont think anyone expects chandler to be the answer at PF, he's just a temporary fill in. PPat's departure may hurt us in that area, but then again, Robinson is much better at getting out on the break and finishing strong near the rim. Also a much better rebounder. So, we could counter with more rebounding and better efficiencey close to the rim.
Chandler/Delfino @ 4 is only a bandaid. We were overstocked at PF and without playing time for TJones or Donuts, they'd never get a chance to prove themselves. Much like how OKC traded away Jeff Green for Harden to become The sixth man. Plus the move gives the Rockets cap space for the offseason.
