I know Rockets were ranked at the top defensively during the playoffs but clearly the Lakers are having their way. Switching is fine some of the time but doesn’t work when you have a 6’3” player guardian someone 6’11”. Once the double team starts they’re getting wide-open locks and so far their players and knocking down the shots. Too many terrible defensive breakdowns and no excuse for the poor transition defense. Oh, and you can’t front a player or they’ll just roll to the bucket for an easy lamp since their point guard is good at finding them come into the basket. Sadly, I see absolutely no adjustments to the defense of game. While the Lakers continue to throw dust different looks at our offense, MDA has done nothing to adjust. STUPID!

They have the most mobile and skilled big man in the league. Our small ball can only be so effective against the likes of Anthony Davis and even LeBron.

I’m more concerned with how we have an offensive genius coach and has made no adjustments to the Lakers trapping James every single time and not having a player constantly cut or park in the middle of the key.

Yes, that’s equally concerning. I heard Barkley comment before the game that the Rockets don’t have anyone else that can create their own shot. Westbrook is literally the only guy on the team that can create off the dribble. Well, Rivers can create but his shot is pretty darn ugly. At this point I think you have to play Westbrook at point with Harden at offguard. It’s hard to understand why you would continue to have Harden bring the ball up the court when you know he’s getting double teamed. Meanwhile, the Rockets need to play more of a zone and trap against Davis and LeBron every single time or at least try to make it unpredictable. Whatever they’re doing ain’t working
