I waited in line for the FEMA hand outs ACCIDENTALLY at the football stadium off of Center street. You get a cold bag of ice, a case of water and a large box of MRE's.

Only screwed part for me...I thought I was waiting in a line for gas. :D

How long was the wait? Was it crowded? I'm trying to help my ex out as they live there...They are still w/o power, although the new part of the subdivision has had there power on since Saturday...I guess their on a different grid...

I waited around 30 minutes. The ice was cold, not half full of water. The chicken fajita MRE actually wasn't half bad, neither was the cappuccino. :p

I waited in line for gas for over 2 hours and right as I was three cars away from the pump they ran out. Not a happy time.

So MREs aren't that bad you say? The one I tried in 1996 was awful. :(

MRE's are bad. We use the crackers as frisbees and see who can hurl it the greatest distance.

I was told it wasn't bad, as my brother and dad tried 'em out. I had AC and a fridge full of food, they just now got electricity back.

I have no interest in even trying them out.
