I don't know, but I laugh every time because it is like clockwork. You can see it coming a mile away. Take the free points if the defense is going to be lazy with their defensive stances (arms outstretched).

People complain, but the reality is if the defender took a position like Patty Mills and Danny Green via Spurs (last playoffs) with their hands back those fouls wouldn't happen. Don't get mad at CP if the defender isn't disciplined.

No one likes to admit they're being outworked, especially when it contributes to the loss column.

It's easier to call them a cheater than admit they themselves were outworked. Now, if this were Andrew Bogut and his bs moving screens, maybe the article would have a point as that clearly is a violation.

The part that concerns me is when the refs swallow their whistle come playoff time. Then what?

Someone cannot like it, they can even complain that Harden baits players a lot. What no one can argue about is the fact that it was/is a foul.

I used to not like when Karl Malone would move his upper body towards the basket and shoot, which would usually result in contact and a foul. However, at the end of the day it was a proper call.

If they want to change the rules in the off season, go ahead but all it does is open a Pandora's box of unintended consequences that some of these same fans will be b****ing about.

The refs don't swallow their whistles come playoff time.

Its really a mystery how this myth got perpetuated.

James Harden has been to the playoffs seasons with the Rockets and has played a total of 45 playoff games, or roughly 1,700 minutes. In those 5 playoff seasons James Harden has averaged over 10 free throw attempts per game. The referees have not just decided to swallow their collective whistles. What HAS happened is that the pace in the playoffs has gone down and Harden has overall shot the ball less and has struggled from the three point line.

Further, James Harden has been going against the Spurs and Warriors in a number of series in the post season. Those are/were both elite defenses at the time of the match ups.

This is also part of the reason I kind of grin when I hear people complain that our slow pace won't work in the playoffs.

What I’ve seen on opposing fan boards is that they hate the alleged Capela and other players’ moving screens. That and they say we grab their big men such as KAT and AD

Tbh what I find most hilarious about the cp3 tip moves is how feverishly and hard he swings his arms through the defenders.

He does it with such purpose and almost in a rude/mean way lol.

    So true.

    Harden gets labeled “Hero Ball”

    while

Michael Jordan would just be labeled “a hero” nowadays doing the same.

When a team is successful, fans of other teams get jealous and try to justify their negative feelings in whatever way possible.

We still do this with Golden State. That’s just the natural order of things. There will always be haters, but win a championship or two and you earn grudging respect from many of them.

Swyyyguy is a Houston Rocket fan now. His postings lately have been very positive lately towards
our Rockets. The transformation from put-down ponies to riding in front of the band wagon Rocket fan
is nearly complete.....until the Rockets lose. Then the Harden turnovers, Capela sucks, remember
Rockets game 6 last year vs the Spurs comments will resume.

    Just messing with you Swy
