Larry Sanders over Bogut, not just because of dislike of the latter, but because both are a gamble and Larry at least has proven not to be a stiff, is not injury prone, not coming back from an injury, hasn't turned us down and is more motivated.
Funny, I was literally JUST thinking about those two players in particular as potential buyout targets the Rockets might be interested in! Hibbert is a guy they could just stash towards the end of the bench to be a situational defender against opponents' size. MDA wouldn't have to get him minutes or force him into the rotation at the expense of another player's minutes. Afflalo might get bought out, but his large, mostly non-guaranteed 2017-18 salary might be a little useful in trades for the Kings between the end of their season and the NBA Draft (after which it becomes fully guaranteed). But given that they'll have significant cap space this summer, the ability to make a trade in late June versus early July might not be that great for them.
Yeah i guess so, but at least he would fit better than Splitter at this point, at least we know he can stay on the court, flop and throw a couple of elbow shots lol
Can he stay on the court though? I thought he's had a lot of injury issues over the last few years. Not interested in Splitter either.
you know what you're getting with him though. All out effort if he's on your team. I'll take that any day on my squad
Yeah, i don't think he would help that much either tbh, but i wasn't suggesting to get him by any means, he just came into my mind while i was talking about Splitter since he's also an old Brazilian center etc...i do think he would still be better than Splitter if we are forced to sign a done player though, let's say this lol
If Sixers pay the difference in salary from what his new team signs him for, why does it matter that the Rockets "have the most money of the contenders"? Doesnt he get paid the same either way?
No the offset rule applies. It's not true dollar for dollar, but he does make more money the more he signs for.
Paul George ruined his confidence. I wouldn't be against bringing him in if bought out, he's 7'2 so rebounding shouldn't be a problem but if he's here he should keep his woman away from the arena
