Exclude game 1 of summer league (rust from not playing vs true competition for year):
    Melton: (4 gms):

29.25 mins..................Rockets won’t need Melton to give the Rockets 30 mins unless both CP3/Eric Gordon are injured.
    19 pts
    26/61 (43 FG%)............6.5/ 15.25 per game
12/32 (37.5 3P%)..........3/8 per game (Rockets would love 3 three’s per game from a player)
    30 rebs..........................7.5 per game
    16 ast.............................4 per game
    13 stl..............................3.25 per game
    4 blk...............................1 per game

It’s summer league.....but many can see the “kid can be special, little something-something.”

SB Nation listed their top 9 of the Las Vegas league. Melton was among them:
    https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2018/7...ue-las-vegas-los-angeles-lakers-chicago-bulls

    9) Sexton (lotto pick #8)
    8) Melton ...........................................................(#46 pick)
    7) Ayton (lotto #1)
    6) Jaren jackson (lotto #4)
    5) Knox (lotto #9)
    4) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (lotto #11)
    3) Svi Mykhailiuk...................................................(#47 pick)
    2) Mitchell Robinson.............................................(#36 pick)
    1) Wendell Carter (lotto #7)

Capela played 12 games his rookie year with an average of 7.5 mins a game. I think Melton could get about
10 mins vs the likes Sac, Suns, Magic, Nets, Hawks, etc........garbage time........sub-500 teams(?).
Rockets were fighting for seeding during Capela’s rookie year (14-15) as well. Even played some vs the Warriors
    in the WCF’s.

Number 4 on list impressed me (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander)
Box score numbers for game with Melton vs Shai G-A (Rockets vs Clips):
    Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 25 pts....5 rebs.....4 ast.....2 stl.....0 blk
    Melton...............................: 26 pts...10 rebs...5 ast....2 stl....1 blk

Kids Game resembles kawi Leonard on both ends.

I don’t know what that means for his potential because he’s only 6’2 not 6’8 but it’ll be interesting to see how he develops.

Def looks like he could be another Capela type draft pick.

I thought he our performed all the Lotto pick gaurds.

Imo if he was drafted top 15 every media outlet would be talking about how he’s a rookie of the year candidate.

He shot better than trea young in summer league and young is supposed to be a shooter.

Morey looks like he got lucky on taking a kid who looks like he fell only because he didn’t play competitive basketball for over year.

He was def in the gym working on his shot tho 3/8 shooting from deep is fantastic hope he can keep it up.
