Bit the bullet and just bought mine. Sounds interestng. Wanted to do Austin for ACL or Funfunfun Fest but I guess i'll stay home this fall/winter. So instead of complaining about the heat at FPSF, we'll be b****ing about how its too cold to stand outside for Music

At least its indoor too, whew!

Is this going to be big name artists like FPSP?

Yes I think so. Daft Punk is rumored to be one of the acts. Lineup is released next week if you rather wait to see who plays

It means we're going to charge you $400 to listen to techno and see videos on the wall of naked people throwing paint at each other.

Uh... no. Daft Punk is not playing in Silver Street or on some stage on a street outside of it. These guys don't have near the budget to bring Daft Punk in either.

Sigh... Every damn "festival"with this Daft Punk business...

Dang, I was hoping this was a Prog rock festival that was referencing the Spock's Beard album.

    1. Go to your room and turn off all your lights.
    2. Play repetitive techno really loudly.
    3. Put strobe light 3 inches from your face.
    4. Enjoy

Great start to a new winter festival in Houston. Could only catch Day 2, but the weather was great, artwork was amazing, carpeted mainstage was unique, lots of space with skyline in backdrop, and not so crowded as other fests. Food truck options were better than FPSF IMO, needs some more water spouts.

Lineup should be better for the price (got mine for really cheap so can't complain), but I was really there for FlyLo & Kendrick. Overall great winter fest without the heat to worry about. Hopefully they build on this next year and keep it going.

We were going to go but I was skeptical of the event, plus just saw Muse earlier this month. How was Kendrick?

Kendrick was great as always, saw him back in 2013 at SXSW and then again at Pitchfork in 2014. One of the most amazing and memorable shows when he called up some white guy to rap m.A.A.d city but freestyled instead! Here's a vid of it:

i was there for both days and I loved it.

The ones who stood out for me were Philip Glass Ensemble, Janelle Monae, Madeon, and Holly Herndon. I unfortunately had to miss Kendrick and Flying Lotus, but heard great things. I got to check out New Order for Sound check on friday. They performed Crystals in front of 5 people including myself and that was truly special.

The art installs were pretty cool too. The nonotak one was great, especially at night. Infinity room was pretty spectacular too.

Overall, a very positive experience and its wonderful that such an inspiring event happened in houston. I think we as a city deserve more from the arts and music

Living a block away from this festival, I'm glad it's over. :)

I did enjoy the free Kendrick concert though
