C’mon man!! You think they can shoot any 2s in this style of offense. This is nonexistent in this style of play. It was created this way no matter the variable. You telling me shump would be better served shooting 3s than the 2 point shot he should be taking inside the arch! Again, CP3 only started shooting 2s late in the season, hell,Harden finally was able to use the floater instead of the lob! It’s the way they designed it to be.

Despite losing the series, they played well in that every game could have gone either way. Sometimes luck plays a role. It sucked to lose but the Warriors are effing great. At least we competed and pushed them to the brink.

Morey needs to stick to contracts and players... This entire argument about stats has been going on for about 5 years now...

Yes the team is very exciting in the regular season, but for 5 years it's been proving that a stats offense will not win you a championship.

The Mighty Western Conference is 0-15 against the Warriors over the last 5 years. What's everyone else's excuse?

Seriously though .... just go watch Inside the NBA or listen to color analysts on TNT like Reggie, etc. Look at the success of the Charlotte teams since Jordan took over.

It’s obvious to me that the worst people to listen to about basketball are great basketball players. Give me a smart person all day every day over someone who had God given talents but thinks long 2’s are good shots.

 

Mike's failure is in getting Harden to play FASTER, and move the ball - that is his biggest failure and it is the number 1 reason the Rockets can't win.

I would put Harden higher. Homer take but I would put him on top -- otherwise, we should have been swept in blow-outs.

The truth is the refs gave GS game one, and while the Rockets certainly didn't do themselves any favors, there should have been a Game 7.

 

The number 1 reason the Rockets haven’t won a title is so stinking obvious and yet countless people here can’t see it.

It’s not Harden choking, it’s not our system, it’s not Mike and all things people believe he’s doing wrong, it’s not Morey or the new owner, it’s not the refs either.

The number 1 reason we haven’t won is the Warriors have simply been that much better. I’m not saying this is the only reason, but to ignore how good our opponent has been is foolish.

 

The thing is most teams are finding better ways to defend moreyball forcing teams to take the midrange, but if your team doesn’t want to take the midrange then the opposing team has already won the battle

Man I hope you're wrong. It's effective, but just SO hard on the eyes. If this style becomes a leaguewide trend, look for Silver to do something about it to protect the watchability of the overall product.

 

Even an Idiot and a Drunk will tell the truth every once in a while... You can not build an offense just on stats.. You can use stats to help with your game plan and with a player and team tendencies...

If he was paid 11 mil to sit on the bench then good for him.

Also who cares about the other teams in the Western Conference, this subject is about the Rockets.
