    Carl Herrera is correct. Defense gets you on the court, but offense gets you paid the big bucks.

    Centers always get paid more, for offense or defense.
    It is the highest paid position. The question is does offense get you paid significantly more compared to salaries for all centers?

    Asik's $8m/yr is the 21st highest paid center.
    Brook Lopez is 4th
    Joakim Noah -- First Team NBA is only making $11m

    Note: Parsons played 38mpg. That's as much the problem right there. I believe all Parsons needs is to get reduced to reasonable 30-32mpg for his defense to come back.

    Centers always get paid more. 7'ers max out a lot. But 7'ers with offense almost always max out.
