    Possibly dump Gordon’s salary to slide under the luxury tax and replacing him with another replacement level player like Shumpert. Maybe a Moe Harkless type.

    and hopefully no more ennis lol

    I don't mind spot minutes for rivers since he can play d and drive. can't shoot though. I also don't mind spot minutes for green since he can shoot but doesn't do much else. both are better than ennis who's only skill is being fast.

    Go take your Tillman is cheap narrative somewhere else. Shumpert is an upgrade for this season, and the Rockets used Knight’s contract to get a 3 and D guy they needed.

    I could Morey trying to dump Nene using Hartenstein as bait. I think that would get us completely out of the luxury tax.

    No they used a first round pick (and a second) to dump Knight’s contract. Replacement Level #12’s expiring was just what the Rockets had to take on.
