Allan Houston is the favorite all-time Knick he never turned out to be.

How dare you not bend over and be the puppet you were for LeBron James! MSG shall not be smitten-ed by this disgrace of utter lack of disrespect by you or the likes of Charles Oakley!

Now come give Allan Houston a hug!

Chris Christie: Knicks interim GM 'Steve Mills is just James Dolan's puppet'

Gov. Chris Christie has a record-low 15 percent approval rate in New Jersey, but that didn't stop him from calling out someone else who did an "awful job."

In his first day auditioning for a job as a full-time sports radio talk show host on WFAN, Christie and co-host Evan Roberts started their Monday afternoon drive show with a rant on the Knicks.

"Phil Jackson did an awful job," Christie said of the recently fired executive. "But the fact is that anybody who believes that anybody who goes to work there is doing anything other than working for (owner) James Dolan and having James Dolan make the ultimate calls is kidding themselves."

"If James Dolan really wants to let go of the franchise -- as he says he does -- and put a professional basketball person in charge," Christie said, "you could say that Griffin is the best available person.

"I don't have any problem coming to this conclusion: James Dolan can't let go, and Steve Mills is just James Dolan's puppet."

Dolan, the former CEO of Cablevision whose history of hiring executives is disastrous, said he does not want to be part of the search.

"He may not be a part of the search," Christie said, "but I can't imagine he's not a part of setting the parameters of the authority of the guy who is going to run the franchise."

The governor added, "As a Knicks fan, here's what I think: In a franchise riddled with mistakes, the single biggest mistake James Dolan ever made was getting rid of Donnie Walsh."

Christie is auditioning to fill the big shoes of Mike Francesa, who is leaving the station in December. New Jersey's most unpopular governor of all-time is leaving office in January.

It's just amazing. It's literally the most desirable market in the world and should be the most prestigious GM job in the league and yet so far Chauncey Billups would rather play in Ice Cube's 3 on 3 league and David Griffin would literally rather be unemployed for at least a year than join them. That's how dysfunctional that organization is.

James Dolan should just sell. Is he not sick of being absolutely hated yet? I bet he could sell that damn franchise for like 2 billion dollars or more.
