The Cavs with the #1 team in the East...when the cavs fired him. Their current success is predicated on them actually hitting shots and playing as a team. They were completely and totally dysfunctional the beginning of the season. Blatt has won with a bunch of nobodies across the world, and his NBA success has been proven. Blatt would be a good coach to hire for the Rockets, but in the end...this team will only go when Harden embraces being a leader on and off the court.

Yes, they are. Blatt generally had rosters on a budget at about 25% of the ones Messina had and still won them (there's no salary cap in the Euro-league). Blatt was a point guard for Pete Carril in Princeton for four years, so he probably knows what it is all about, but he doesn't play pure Princeton. He plays good defense above all. The Cavs players did not respect Blatt? That was only Bron and his buddies. Haven't you read what JR Smith and Dellavedova said about him. JR said that Blatt was the first coach he ever had, who truly communicated with him as a human being. He said that he would jump through a brick wall for Blatt. Mozgov came to life only because of Blatt. Now he's gone again. Never mind, Blatt will not be the next Rockets head coach, so it doesn't matter what he is or what he is not. However, if Blatt becomes the head coach of an NBA team, we can compare him to the next Houston head coach.

Carmelo is interested in Blatt less for his own sake than for a certain European stud 4/5 they drafted last summer. Anyway, that's why he said he was interested in Blatt.
