Well the hope is that you get someone that a star player respects. Lebron obviously didnt have that for Blatt. Harden on the other hand, I have no idea what kind of coach he would respond to.
I believe it. They don't consult LBJ. LBJ dictates the moves through his reps so they never have to come consult him.

I know they love Lue and re-upped him, but I find it funny Blatt's fired the day Kerr returns. I would think it'd be a Luke walton thing, but it is Lue.
Seems a little unjustified. Be careful what you wish for. The Cavaliers are likely a team ready for hands off approach, but still a very raw team with Kyrie at the helm. Still some learning to do which Blatt provides.
Maybe David Griffin needs to be fired too. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">LeBron's coaches thus far: *Paul Silas *Brendan Malone *Mike Brown *Erik Spoelstra *David Blatt *Tyronn Lue <a href="https://t.co/PYDKP8AEss">pic.twitter.com/PYDKP8AEss</a></p>— NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNNBA/status/690650238038720512">January 22, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

It's time for owners to have some cajones and back their coaches. Owners treat players like it's p***y, like it's on a pedestal or some ****. Don't cave in, hold your ground for the love of god. I really refuse to believe 90% of the coaches do what they would like to do, and instead do something so short sighted just to keep their job. Just like the market there, CEOs worry about the next quarter not the overall outlook.
Firing Blatt as a means to improve is okay if you're positive you can get a superior coach in return. But Lue?? How will Cavs management respond if, and in all likelihood this will happen, Cavs still are worse than Spurs/GS?
