Correct. This is legit, and Im surprised it did not happen last year as I noted earlier yesterday before this "news" broke.

We know for a fact that this source'd info was told to Aldridge to report, however we dont know exactly what Dwight's feelings are about the city of Houston.

This is most likely coming from Dwights agent as a negotiation tactic to force Houston off the phone with the Magic because it has been well reported that Dwights mgmt made an agreement with DWills camp last year to get them teamed up in Brooklyn.

Yup. Aldridge was the only reporter to mention talks between the Rockets and Wolves for No. 18 before the deal went down. He's legit and has real connections. It's nothing against Houston - he's just relaying what he hears from Dwight's people (desperate ploy).

I don't see why not? The Rockets did well during the Yao years. Granted the China effect has diminished a bit, but it's still an international city.

    repost

    Aldridge:

    More shopping with Rockets?

I think so. Rockets aren't done yet. 3 picks. They know those picks alone not enough to entice Orlando for Dwight Howard. They're trying to get more picks. You could see them pair their three picks with one player each--Lowry situation up in the air. Dragic is a FA and if he wasnt, Lowry would have already been traded. Martin is being shopped. Morey wants to shake it up. He wants to hit a home run and make a big splash one way or the other.

    Expect busy 48 hours.

NJ wants to keep Williams and get Howard. They're calling all over. I think they would love to get a draft pick to draft Thomas Robinson. They would love to get a young big man to entice Deron to stay.

Utah trying to get in the first round. I hear they like Rivers and Jeremy Lamb.

Sacramento has been talking to a lot of teams.

Cleveland wants to move up to 2.

Washington wants to take Beal, Barnes or Gilchrist.

Toronto at 8, people are looking at as moving the pick. They've been linked to Lowry. You hear Dwane Casey wants a big time star player to come in there and provide leadership.

A lot of teams have multiple leads. Many want to move into the first and some teams who want to move back.

Mavericks trying to clear cap room so they can make room for Deron WIlliams. They're shopping all their players to clear room for Deron Williams.

    Recap:

-says Houston isn't done dealing yet (go figure)
-Rockets know that those picks aren't enough to entice Orlando and so they are trying to get more picks
-what we may see Houston do is pair each first round with a player in order to move up or receive an established player.
-Rockets may be reluctant to trade Lowry without knowing Dragic will likely be back (but what about Deron Williams?)
-Kevin Martin is "certainly" being shopped. Recently talked to Minnesota about him (there was a report that Kahn shot down Martin + Bud for Derrick Williams last night)
-Houston will continue to look to move up in the draft and/or acquire established players to better their package for Dwight Howard.

Aldridge: NJ is on the phones desperately trying to get a pick. They would love to get Thomas Robinson.

    This dude is trolling us.

A trade like that screams the Rockets want both Williams and Howard.
