QUESTION: What exactly has Thibs won?
Known to grind his players down

How many years do you think we should sign him for??
How long do we give him to win a championship?

No Excuses if Dwight gets reinjured or anyone else. . . etc. . . right?

It was Les that said, on the day Bickerstaff was hired, he would be given a full season to prove himself. How do you blame Morey for not hiring a different coach when the owner has made a season-long commitment to the one we have?

Wait, what? Owner Alexander is running a capitalistic enterprise?

C'mon, fellow Rox fanatics, can we get real just once? (And can we arsonate this whole dadgum two month nightmare?)

Thibs is even more pro coaching fraternity than JVG. He is old school in that way, you are right... He isn't going to replace someone that currently has a job. That doesn't even address the amount of power/role that Thibs would demand.

It was also Morey telling Les to hold off on the Mchale firing. Morey loves himself a puppet.

I think many want him because Many including me think he is the exact type of coach Harden needs. It's not about the defense for me because we have seen that even mchale could get James and this same team to play elite defense.

I think Harden needs somebody who he respects and will call him out and and force him to do the things he is uncomfortable with.

This team needs thibs and a serious upgrade at SF (Harrison Barnes, Durant) and a PF (Pau Gasol)

    Bev
    Harden
    Barnes
    Gasol
    Howard

    Bench

    ?
    Thronton
    Ariza
    Dmo
    Capela
    Jet
    Harrell
    Dekker

That starting five is very skilled and proven with Harrison Barnes maybe having the potential to take his game up a notch and transform into an Allstar level player.

Yep, if you cant or dont hold your best player accountable, it doesnt matter. For all of T--Mac faults, we've seen him lockdown guys. Harden doesn't have that kind of ability, but his effort level is plain bad. Its easy to see, he doesnt even compete on screens or on rotation.

Which player did he grind down?

I mean crap, last seasons Rockets team had more injuries than any Bulls team. Did Mchale wear us down?

Thibs demands a constant level of respect and accountability for the game. He brings the best level of preparation and effort. If you don't want that, you want the easy way out like Harden and Howard do.

Would Thibs make the players take their job seriously?

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...solutions-for-all-30-nba-teams-201237181.html

Houston Rockets: Learn to, I don’t know, take your job seriously?

This is a championship-level roster that has ruined its season. Both the team’s owner and head coach are questioning the team’s interest in playing hard, and even when gifted with a sitting Stephen Curry in the middle of an impossibly tough schedule, the Rockets loped through things and lost. The sad part is that they probably won’t have a chance to make things right until October of 2016.

Correct. Also remember he's a disciple of JVG, who helped run Yao down too. They're both known for over practicing their players
