    I agree with you. This team has no first round Rookie contracts and 2 bad contracts with no market. New gm would just tank.

    Morey gets his chance to put those analytics to use. The real truth of it is he is learning how to balance the analytics with the eye test. Thats what the Clippers did when they hired Jerry West. They put someone in their inner circle who could make good business decisions while making great talent decisions relevant to how they play. Daryl needs a hall of famer in the loop that has front office experience like Don Nelson. Nelly knows how to put teams together

    The same team that signed Barns to max contract and also Mathews and Parsons to hugely over priced contracts as well.

    Mavs are conference championship in 2007 and 2011.
    Morey are not conference champ.

    Statistics assume you use all input data to be true. We still may loose on a lot of factors when judging talent by raw stats. But if someone who can play see another guy who can play he doesnt need any statistics, plus if he has great soft skills and can understand psychology then you have big advantage... thats why Jerry West rocks

    So what? They went to finals three times and won one. Then they proceed to rebuild and get Doncic with 5th pick. When those contracts are up Luka will still be there
