    Daryl Morey acquired
    Kevin Martin
    Jordan Hill
    Jared Jeffries
    Knicks 2012 pick
rights to flip 2011 picks with the Knicks

All for McGrady's expiring, Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey

    Danny Ferry acquired
    Antawn Jamison
    Sebastian Telfair

All for some old Ilgauskas who will probably end up back in Cleveland.

They both have had past successes (i.e. drafting Brooks and Landry for DM and shedding pavlovic and Wallace for Shaq)

As much as we praise Morey, who's really better?

Ferry got an easy break with Washington really needing to dump Jamison. If they don't get LeBron, they are boned for years.

Morey, on the other hand, did an amazingly difficult trade which improved us now, and set us up for the future as well.

Also, Morey can beat up Ferry IRL.

    4 players plus 2 draft picks > 2 players

If the Cavs win the NBA Championship and keep Lebron...they are the biggest winners.

The Rockets might have gotten a great deal, but if this team doesn't make any serious noise in the next 5 years, it would've all been for nothing.

Ferry has Lebron to do his recruiting and basically banked on him staying long term, if he leaves they could be REALLY screwed but I don't see that happening.

Morey has done a fabulous job building this team and creating a long term gameplan HOWEVER only once out of the 1st rd while the Cavs have gone VERY deep in the playoffs for a few years now.

Ferry will get the award because they will probably win the East BUT BUT BUT Morey is a much better GM as he has to work around injured stars and a tighter Salary Cap/Luxury Tax to maintain this team in contention and next year a title contender.

Where are they without Lebron? Who'd their #1 option be, Mo Williams?

This. Similar argument of Adelman v Brown: Coach of the Year? You telling me Brown deserved it last year or maybe it was the year before? Defiantly not, or not imo
