Clint is not going anywhere. When Morey refers to Tilman spending a lot of money next year, he ain't just talking about CP3.
Where is this "cheap Deandre Jordan" coming from? Everyone keeps saying if we can't afford to keep Clint, our best option is to sign DJ to a cheap contract. The problem with this idea is that he has a $24M+ player option for next year. If any of you think that he wants to play in Houston so badly he'd happily leave 15 or 20 million dollars on the table, well, you're higher than Michael Beasley.
Just like his fans, TMac suffers from inferiority complex and the disgrace of never being able to get out of the first round. Watching Harden succeed burns him inside which is why he takes cheap shots at him. Mac is classless clown and a loser.
Trevor is a free agent. If Chris & James have any say, he'll be back. Of course, a team could always throw him a big offer and the Rockets pass. Eric, if they hit on any of their big plans (LeBron or PG), he'll probably be gone. Also came in with Anderson, maybe goes out with him as they try to move him.
A LeBron deal would almost certainly require moving EG(his salary + Ryno's equal LeBron's). And I don't see the logic in bringing back Ariza if we do land him. You don't pay 8-10 mil for a backup 3. Spend 2-3 mil on Luc instead.
Do not want if he cant make free throws. Warriors will just keep hacking him and sending him to the line to brick FTs while they will be making 3s the other end.
I have a feeling Ariza is going to take a paycut to stay here. Winning is all that matters to him, and I believe he wants to see this thing through.
Trade Capela for Jordan Ithink I would rather Capela for Chandler and SOMETHING else in Phoenix Rocket River
Someone with cap knowledge(Bima?) will have to answer this for me. Can the Rockets allocate Ariza's 8 mil salary elsewhere or are they capped out and not able to do that? If it's the former, I'd kinda prefer the Rockets look elsewhere. Trevor will be 33 a month from now, is too streaky with his shot(look at Game 7 for chrissakes!), and can't dribble to save his life. We can do better at small forward. And I don't just mean LeBron. There have to be better options available.
You can never have too many 3 and D guys. Trevor has shown to struggle with his shot when his legs are dead. He may be a good option to play 20-25 minutes a night from now on. He played excellent defense and sold out his soul on that end.
